In a very special episode of our podcast, 'Impulse to Innovation' being released Monday 2 November, we discuss EV batteries and electric vehicles.

While different parts of the country tighten restrictions, and we continue to work from home, we are delighted to provide some extra interesting engineering content.

In this episode our host, Dr Helen Meese had the opportunity to interview British actor, comedian, presenter, and writer, Robert Llewellyn. With his very successful YouTube show ‘Fully Charged’ it was a fantastic opportunity hear his views and gain some of his knowledge on the subject. We also have a guest speaker from our November event, ‘International EV Batteries 2020: Cost effective Engineering for Hybrid and Electric Vehicles’. You do not want to miss this episode!

“Each month we will be discussing new topics, those in the news, but also those relevant to our members” explained Dr Meese. “I am hopeful too that people outside the engineering profession will find the show interesting and it will be a gateway for younger people to come into the profession.”

You can find the podcast on all the major service providers; Podbean, Google, Apple, Deezer and Stitcher, Amazon, and Alexa. It will be worthwhile subscribing to the show to keep up to date with our monthly episodes.

The podcast team would love to hear your thoughts and comments on this and future episodes. If you would like to get in touch, our email address is podcast@imeche.org.
