The Technical Partnership between INFINITI and Renault Sport Formula One™ Team involves two core areas; the co-development of the Energy Recovery System (ERS) and the INFINITI Engineering Academy; a global search for the best young engineers to work with both INFINITI and Renault Sport Formula One™ Team.

The INFINITI Engineering Academy offers seven students the career opportunity of a lifetime, with the chance to gain real-world experience in both the Automotive and Motorsport industries. Students from around the world (see website for eligible regions) are invited to apply for their chance to attend a ‘Regional Final’ and earn one of seven coveted work placements in the UK starting in October.  

The placements are split between INFINITI (6 months) and Renault Sport Formula One™ Team (6 months). It includes a full salary, shared INFINITI vehicles, accommodation, return flights and visas.

The Business of Motorsport MA is a course specifically designed to meet the growing needs of business professionals in the motorsport industry. You will have the opportunity to explore the evolving and multi-faceted area of motorsport management through core and bespoke motorsport modules.

At Leicester Castle Business School, in partnership with De Montfort University, we recognise that it is essential to master the national and international aspects of business in the industry. During the course your motorsport network will grow and you will get mentoring from leading academics, at the forefront of their fields.

Our modules have been developed in partnership with leading business figures. The objective of this programme is to provide you with the key skills needed to lead and succeed in today’s global business environment while also enhancing your career prospects within this exciting and challenging global industry.

You will develop knowledge of motorsport management and business through your study with us, headquartered in the historic Great Hall of Leicester Castle. Our programme also offers the option to pursue an Executive Company Project with specific reference to the motorsport industry through established links.

Students will have access to a number of industry providers throughout your study. Career prospects for graduates of the Business of Motorsport MA degree programme include sports industry jobs specific to motorsport including governance, sponsorship, brand management, finance and event management.

The Language of Collaborative Manufacturing (LOCM) Project, based between the Universities of Bristol and Bath, are a trans-disciplinary team developing the next generation of interactive information systems and project-analysis techniques within engineering industry.

Through cutting-edge algorithms, software, and visualisations, LOCM creates systems that automatically analyse large-scale and complex engineering projects, generating and providing detailed project-specific information to managers and engineers in real-time. This information creates step-change benefit in levels of project understanding, monitoring capability, and ability of engineering managers to effectively ensure performance within their projects.

Through partnership with industry and multiple Formula Student teams, LOCM has developed a suite of analytics and visualisations that support real-time performance monitoring, and evidence-based management intervention.

The Niche Vehicle Network is an independent association of over 400 UK niche vehicle manufacturers, specialist technology and supply chain companies. For the past ten years, we have provided funding and support to enable these companies to develop new technology and build prototype vehicles. These have formed the basis of new sports cars and motorcycles, demonstrating that the UK niche industry leads the way in the adoption of lightweight materials and advanced powertrain solutions.
