About CPD Training
The Institution of Mechanical Engineers now offers CPD training short courses from a range of expert providers, enabling outstanding professional development opportunities for all engineers, technical professionals and scientists at all stages of their careers.
The first year of the CPD Training programs are providing intensive short courses in the broader areas of Management, Leadership, Professional and Business skills, which are today, more important than ever in attracting and retaining a highly skilled workforce to drive organisational success. Specialist and Technical Knowledge course provision applicable across sectors, is an area we are looking to develop and provide in the near future.
CPD Training aims to develop a range of learning opportunities through training, courses, workshops, e-learning and other professional development activities. All training days are run as open programmes for the wider engineering community, but are discounted for Institution members.
Simply follow the appropriate links on the left hand menu, for prices, course descriptions, registration and booking. Select courses that will meet your professional and personal development needs.
The usual venue for courses will be the Institution headquarters at 1 Birdcage Walk, Westminster, London, but we are aware of the demand for short-course training delivered regionally and in Scotland and increasingly this is happening. Please see individual listings. Specific requests for regional training will also be considered on request.
