Global Engineering Debate 2016

The Global Engineering Debate will kick off this year at One Birdcage Walk on Wednesday 20 April.

The theme for the 2016 debates is Transport and this year’s questions is: “Back to the future: What is the future of local Transport?” 
1. Automotive
2. Public transport (Rail, buses, etc)
3. Autonomous vehicles
4. Human powered transport (e.g. bicycles / walking) 

The debate will assess the following:
a. User-benefit
b. Cost
c. Economic impact
d. Environmental impact
e. Political attractiveness
