Who are Primary Engineer?

 

Primary Engineer is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2005 with the aim of encouraging more young people to consider careers in STEM related professions. Its work is supported by Tomorrow's Engineers and industry.  Their vision is that girls and boys from a very early age will aspire to becoming designers and makers - the engineers of the future 

How can IMechE members get involved?

Primary Engineer are looking for engineers prepared to work with schools to make engineering fun and exciting for children of all ages.  They are targeting schools through five main projects which will be covered at the engagement training on the dates below.

  • Primary Engineer
  • The Leaders Award for STEM
  • Primary Bloodhound SSC
  • Engineering Maths
  • Engineering Physics
