Organising a competition

Speak Out for Engineering (SOfE) competition heats take place across the globe. If you are interested in organising a SOfE competition in your area, please contact your Regional Young Member Representative. Contact details can be found on each regional NearYou webpage.

For further clarification and guidance on running a heat this year please contact sofe@imeche.org before running any heats.

Key responsibilities: 

• Work with the Young Member Regional Committee to run the local competition.
• Act as the main point of contact for the Region, Participants and HQ.
• Check the eligibility of all participants.
• Ensure the competition is being conducted in accordance the SOfE guidelines.
