EngTech registration shows employers, colleagues and society that your skills and experience are of the highest standard.
The EngTech of the Year Award recognises EngTech achievements and the contribution they make to the engineering sector, industry and the wider economy.
Entrants must demonstrate outstanding commitment to their professional development, and show how they have made a positive difference to their organisation. They should show how they have made a significant contribution to encouraging young people into an engineering career. This may include:
It is expected that the activity is a long-term initiative and will continue into the future.
Entrants must also show a career plan for the next three to five years.
The winner will receive a prize of £1,000 and the opportunity to apply for IMechE EngTech Membership including two years free subscription. We will support your application.
To be eligible to enter you must be a current EngTech Member of any professional body.
Closing date is 30 September 2024
You can nominate yourself or be nominated by a sponsor from your organisation or a company/group which has benefited from your involvement.
Applications can be made by a company employee, or colleagues in the engineering community who have knowledge of your achievements.
The application must be signed by a sponsor who supports your application.
