Global Account Manager
Jade is part of the international membership team. She looks after four key accounts: Shell, Rolls-Royce, BP and Petrofac, and is responsible for supporting their engineers and graduates through the professional registration process globally. She provides guidance and advice for employers and engineers, and is the key contact between the companies and the Institution. Her main areas of focus are the Gulf Regions, South East Asia and the Caspian.
Jade enjoys the international travel that the job requires. Every 6-8 weeks she meets with her key accounts wherever they are in the world. Meeting the engineers and building long term relationships with their company is a rewarding part of the job, and she is keen to support engineers in their career and encourage continued professional development and learning.
Jade has a Business degree from Macquarie University in Australia and an Event Management associate degree. She previously worked for the Society of Petroleum Engineers managing membership activities in Europe, Africa and Russia and the Caspian. She was responsible for recruitment and retention of members, as well as working with volunteers and programme management.
Jade enjoys working with engineers; she likes the way they think and work. She is a keen traveller, having been to 45 countries, so she relishes the opportunity to have an exciting, rewarding role that combines the two.
She has been living in London for the last four years, after time in Hong Kong and Australia, and is enjoying experiencing what London has to offer.
