Summary

Once your project is scheduled it must be actively monitored and controlled to ensure it delivers the required scope within its time, cost and quality constraints.

This course presents the monitoring actions that are available and the associated controlling actions which can be used to keep a project on track, or to cope with deviations.

The programme is delivered by project management experts who will provide a practical guide to the scheduling process.

The course incorporates practical sessions and case studies to ensure you have the opportunity to apply the tools and techniques being presented.

 

Who should attend?

Project Managers, Team Managers, or personnel in a project assurance or project support role.  Delegates with previous basic knowledge of project management should be able to use the techniques in a live project after the course. 

A basic knowledge of project scheduling is needed.

  • Develop the project cashflow and budget
  • Review and control the project schedule
  • Arrange and contribute to project reviews
  • Use Earned Value Management calculations to forecast project end dates and costs

  • Develop, maintain and interpret milestone charts for use in project reports to senior management

Her experience covers technical project management and also change management, transformation and operational excellence.
