Summary

Creating products that delight, are on time and budget without going to war with colleagues.

The need to bring products to market ever more rapidly is placing increasing demands on engineers, leaving limited time for consideration of alternative designs and a real pressure to get designs released early.  Yet how often are time consuming and expensive changes needed late in the programme when the time pressure is greatest!  What if there was a better way to relieve the stress and get products to market quicker, at lower cost and higher quality?

This webinar has already taken place but you can view the recording and download the slides on our Learning Management System, just click here to create your account.

This webinar provides an introduction to how a great New Product Introduction process can be created to consider all aspects of a product’s lifecycle so that:

  • Product ideas are selected that will appeal to customers and be profitable for the business
  • The lead-time from project approval to market launch is as short as possible
  • Products are designed that are easy to make and maintain throughout their lifecycle
  • Late changes close to market launch are avoided
  • Resources are allocated at the right time for maximum effectiveness
  • Project and product costs are minimised

A key theme of the webinar is how the adoption of a well-structured and collaborative engineering approach will ensure that the right activities are carried out at the right time to maximise the chances of success right through a product’s lifetime.

Who should attend?

Engineers at all stages of career and those wanting to brush up on their current skills.

How will I benefit?

This webinar will give you some useful guidance regarding how you can support the product design process.
