Summary

An 18-month programme designed to enable employers to support early-career engineers in maximising their learning and accelerating the rate at which they realise their full potential.

The IMechE Early Career Programme lays the foundations to support early-career engineers in succeeding in their new roles. It focuses on professional development (what they don’t teach at school and university) whilst also including some specialised areas. Among the topics covered are personal effectiveness and branding, report writing, project management, innovation, influencing, business skills and Six Sigma principles.
