Notice of Annual Meeting: 15 September 2025

The continuation of the Annual Meeting of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers will be held in the Lecture Theatre at One Birdcage Walk on Monday 15 September 2025 (12:00hrs BST). IMechE members may attend in person or online. 

Annual Meeting at 12:00hrs (BST) 

The Annual Meeting of the Institution will be held for the purpose of transacting the following business:

1. The presentation and review of the Trustee Board's Report and Annual Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024. https://www.imeche.org/policy-and-press/reports/detail/annual-report-2024
2. The reappointment of the Auditors.

Only Corporate Members and Associate Members of the Institution are entitled to participate in the business of the Annual Meeting. Other members may attend as observers but are not entitled to be heard or to vote (By-Law 38).

The registration site will remain open until 12:00hrs (BST) on 10 September 2025, following which you will be sent an email with your joining instructions.

Following the close of business of the Annual Meeting there will be updates on 1/ the HQ Project, and 2/ the proposed amendments/revisions to the IMechE By-Laws and Trustee Board Regulations and the opening of a two-week ballot.
