Institution News Team
The Institution is recruiting six Ordinary Members to join this new governance committee. The Strategy Committee will develop strategic planning in support of the Institution’s primary objectives and purposes.
The Strategy Committee will be the hub of the IMechE’s strategic planning reaching into every part of the Institution. It will reach out to, and be informed by, the needs of mechanical engineers, their employers and the major challenges facing society.
As a member of this committee, you will review the external environment in which the Institution operates and shape how its purpose and objectives should be adapted to match future needs.
You will work with all areas of the Institution to understand members’ views of the potential way forward. You and your colleagues on the Strategy Committee will document, and communicate widely, the agreed way forward.
This is your opportunity to be a crucial part of the Institution’s governance.
