Summary

Join us for this unique opportunity to interview Steve Kendall, Director of a successful project management training consultancy, and a Fellow of the Association for Project Management, and learn from his thoughts on everything Project Management drawn from 30+ years of experience.

We will discuss what makes projects, and project management, and how it differs from operations and general management; we’ll take a look at the role of the project manager, diving into what it entails and the characteristics and attributes that make some project managers stand out.

We’ll also look at how people become project managers and what qualifications are available, as well as the pros and cons of the different qualifications.

Steve will share some of the projects and project managers that have inspired him and explain why. We’ll also consider some projects that have famously gone wrong, and what we can learn from them.

Finally, there will be information about what to do next, what support is available, and where to find out more.
