Has anyone calculated the amount of CO2 released during wind turbine manufacturing?

I found Jon Hilton's "Zero-emissions cars too good to be true" column very revealing and have long wondered if such an analysis has been directed at 'Wind turbine economics'.

As in Jon's article, has anyone calculated the amount of CO2 released during manufacturing and also a cost analysis of the overall benefits over the lifetime of a typical wind turbine?

I read recently of the vast additional cost of electricity distribution from these remote sites which also needs to enter these calculations.

I look forward to hearing members' views.
