Geothermal energy technology development requires worldwide international political co-operation

I would like to express my agreement with all contributors to PE who have supported the development of geothermal energy systems.

In my view, geothermal energy technology is of such importance that its development requires worldwide international political co-operation. Perhaps such an approach would help to allay the financial concerns which may arise. After all, as has been suggested, if prospective miners are sitting on top of a huge goldmine, it is unlikely that they would waste time worrying about costs.
