Walking group to represent LBGT+ engineers at Pride in London 2016

Equality and Diversity Steering Group

The Equality and Diversity Steering group is encouraging Institution members to join InterEngineering's 2016 Pride in London parade.

InterEngineering has entered a walking group to represent the LGBT+ engineering community at this year's Pride in London on 25 June 2016.

Through the support of leading engineering companies Balfour BeattySPIE and Amec Foster Wheeler, InterEngineering has been able to secure space for a large contingent of LGBT+ engineers and supporters, and is inviting Institution members to join them.

Please register for a space to join the InterEngineering walking group. We will be in touch before the event for plans leading up to Pride and also for plans on the day.

As an organisation, InterEngineering is leading the way for change across the engineering sector. It aims to combat homo/bi/trans-phobia in the workplace, on site and in educational establishments by working with companies and universities. It has a growing relationship with the UK Government and has been a key voice for championing change both from a grass-roots up and leadership-down approach.

To register for the Pride in London parade, visit the InterEngineering event page.
