These prestigious awards aim to identify global research visionaries who will lead major research, translation and innovation programmes around key emerging technologies.

£2,780,000 available over ten years.

Industrial Fellowships

Funded secondments for industrialists or academics to undertake a collaborative research project in either an industrial or academic environment.

Up to £50k per annum for full- or part-time awards that last between 6-24 months.

Research Chairs and Senior Research Fellowships

Designed for use-inspired research in collaboration with an industrial partner. Open to professors, readers, lecturers or equivalent.

£225,000 available over five years.

Deadline 3 March 2020.
