Library and Members’ Hub Reopens
Library and Members’ Hub Reopens

We are delighted to announce that the Library and Members’ Hub is open!

Whilst we have been closed, we have installed a water machine and Nespresso machine offering a range of organic coffee to improve our facilities for you.

So, if you are looking for a new place to work, there are dedicated desks for work and study. You are permitted to take calls and attend virtual meetings and there is space for ad-hoc meetings. A wireless printer/scanner is available. A member of the library team will be on hand to assist with any queries.

There is no need to make a booking, but we are restricting the numbers that can visit at one time whilst social distancing measures are in place.  The Library and Members’ Hub will be open Monday to Friday, 10.30am – 4pm but unstaffed between 1-2pm in our initial phase of opening.  Desks, chairs, and PCs have been spaced for social distancing. Hand sanitiser is provided at high contact points, such as the printer and coffee machine. Masks are to be worn whilst moving around the library.

If you need to view archive materials, you will require an appointment. Please email archive@imeche.org

Everything you need to know about our reopening can be found here.

You can of course still request to borrow items via postal loan (Europe only), post items back to us and download articles and books from our substantial online library.

The Library and Archive team cannot wait to welcome you back to our beautiful library space.
