The Institution of Mechanical Engineers has been hosting the world-renowned International Conference on Turbochargers and Turbocharging for over three decades in the UK.

In response to significant growth in the turbocharger market in the Asia Pacific region, the IMechE are launching a new event to address the key issues surrounding turbochargers for the regional industry.

The International Conference on Turbochargers and Turbocharging Asia Pacific 2019 will take place in Singapore on 8 - 9 May 2019. The conference will feature a two-day technical programme of presentations from turbocharger specialists from across the APAC region and globally.

Featuring speakers from China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Europe, this is a key forum to discuss the different technical solutions to manage common engineering challenges. Leading OEMs will outline how they are preparing for the future of the turbocharging market, reflecting the growth of the hybrid and electric vehicle market and regulatory changes affecting the Asia Pacific region.

Attendees will gain insight into the latest turbocharger design trends and research into turbocharger components, together with state-of-the-art performance testing and heat recovery systems to enhance their powertrain systems.

The 2019 conference will cover:
