£18,000 worth of prizes are on offer for the winners of this year’s IMechE Prestige Awards
Our annual IMechE Prestige Awards:
“celebrate and recognise excellent engineering in both academia and professional practice. They champion engineers who have improved the world or advanced the discipline of engineering both through professional and volunteering efforts,” Terry Spall, President, IMechE
Previous winners include Professor Ahmed Kovacevic, who won the James Clayton Prize for his outstanding contributions in the field of Fluid Machinery, ;and Jude Pullen, who received the Alastair Graham-Bryce Award for his outstanding contributions to numerous educational STEM projects for children and adults alike.
The awards are historically presented in person at One Birdcage Walk. However, 2020 looked very different, of course, with our celebration taking place via a new virtual format hosted by the IMechE President, Terry Spall, and the Chief Executive, Colin Brown. Winners are presented with a certificate, medal and/or prize money: see our individual award pages for further information.
