Engineering charity Practical Action wants to hear your views on their work The power house of a micro-hydro scheme installed by Practical Action to provide poor communities in rural Zimbabwe with affordable power for homes, hospitals, schools and businesses
Practical Action helps the world's poorest communities to use simple, sustainable technology to find lasting solutions to poverty.
They are looking for engineers aged 35+ who would be willing to share their thoughts on Practical Action’s work to help shape their communications. You don't need to have heard about Practical Action or know anything about their work to take part.
Focus groups will be held across the UK over the next couple of months. They will last no longer than 90 minutes and will include activities and discussions about your views on improving the world through engineering.
As a small thank you for your time, Practical Action will give all focus group attendees a £25 voucher of their choice.
Refreshments will be provided and Practical Action will help cover your travel expenses (please keep your receipts or tickets).
To register, please email gemma.hume@practicalaction.org.uk and include your name, address (this is to help conduct focus groups in locations that are convenient for participants) and a phone number to contact you on.
They will send you confirmation and further details.
For more information about the focus groups, contact Gemma Hume on 01926 634486. You can explore Practical Action’s website to find out more about the charity.
