Deadline 1 December 2026: Formula Student teams can now apply for up to £4,500 to support their journey from design and development through to competition.

Applications are now open for Formula Student financial awards, with teams able to secure up to £4,500 to support their journey from initial design and development through to competition. Open to all teams worldwide competing at Formula Student at Silverstone, the awards are available across FS, Concept and FS-AI classes. Funding can help strengthen your vehicle build, support innovation and give your team an extra edge ahead of the competition.

Formula Student is about much more than building a car. It gives students the chance to put engineering theory into practice, tackle real-world challenges and develop the technical, project management and teamwork skills that employers value.
