The Institution’s response to the publication by the Select Committee on Artificial Intelligence (House of Lords) was picked up by the trade press.

The Press Office’s Throwback Thursday Twitter campaign to celebrate the Institution’s heritage featured an image of a breathing apparatus dating from 1882.

In order to promote the Institution as an events space, the Institution has also launched a Twitter campaign showcasing the fascinating paintings, artefacts and models on display in the Institution’s rooms. This week’s image is of the painting of James Watt which hangs in the Council Room.
