This week the Institution’s Dr Jenifer Baxter was interviewed again about the roller coaster crash in Alton Towers, with interviews on Sky News and LBC Radio. There was an interview in the Brentwood Gazette with the Institution’s new President Prof Richard Folkson and follow up coverage in a range of trade press for our latest report looking at heat energy. There was also local media coverage about the TE Connectivity team from Swindon taking part in this year’s Railway Challenge.

The Institution’s Dr Jenifer Baxter was interviewed on Sky News about the Alton Tower’s roller coaster crash. The same interview featured in a number of other new bulletins during the day. She was also interviewed for LBC radio while comments from Institution Fellow Dr Tony Cox about the accident were also picked up by the Express & Star.
