I have been with the Institution since 2017 and have been working with organisations and education institutions in the regions I cover to promote IMechE benefits. I also provide extensive consultation to engineers and technicians in pursuing their professional registration with the Institution.
Presenting IMechE in organisations and education institutions and showing them how we can help improve their engineering career. I find great satisfaction in helping out new applicants with the membership registration and being recognised for my efforts when they are successful.
I have enjoyed my time with IMechE as it has given me plenty of opportunities to meet new people and expand my growing network. Given my past work experiences, I have been invited to speak several times to young engineers on building their resume and have worked with our volunteers to start a mentor/mentee scheme.
