Priya joined the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in early 2023 as Lead Business Analyst and was appointed Associate Director of Data and Change in 2025. She brings a strong background in digital transformation, having previously worked on major programmes at a similarly sized membership organisation. Her role supports both staff and members across the Institution, ensuring that digital change is implemented effectively and sustainably. Priya is particularly passionate about nurturing a data-driven culture, embedding data integrity into the organisation’s digital services and decision-making processes. A member of The Chartered Institute for IT (BCS), Priya holds a degree in Information Systems from Brunel University, which has strong engineering roots. Her career spans a range of roles including IT support, training, business analysis, and project management, giving her a broad and practical understanding of technology-enabled change. Outside of work, Priya is committed to community engagement and served as a chair on a committee for 5 years. She continues to contribute through committee work and fundraising events. She enjoys spending time with her young family and friends. Her personal interests include arts and crafts, reading and travelling.
