End-Point Assessment Manager

Kerry joined IMechE as an Apprenticeship Consultant in March 2017 before been made a permanent member of the leadership team. Based in East Yorkshire, Kerry works nationally to support apprentices, training providers, colleges, and employers to prepare and progress through End Point Assessment for the Engineering Technician and Rail Engineering Apprenticeship Standards.

Beginning her career as an apprentice then progressing to become a qualified assessor Kerry has over 27 years’ experience as a qualified assessor, Internal Verifier and Senior Manager and has worked for private training providers and FE colleges, managing apprenticeship delivery over numerous sectors in addition to welfare to work and employability projects. She is passionate about apprenticeships and believes these are a fantastic opportunity for young people to progress in their chosen career.

Kerry’s experience with awarding bodies and quality standards ensure that IMechE have robust and high quality processes in place to deliver EPA and ensure smooth transition for successful apprentice’s to become full Eng Tech members of the IMechE.

In her spare time Kerry enjoys spending time with her two daughters and their five horses, attending local competitions and events.
