I have been working at the IMechE for many years, starting as a Regional Manager and working my way up to my current role. Currently I oversee the Global Membership Development Team, collaborating across directorates and leading on the development of the global membership development strategy and organisational growth.
The most rewarding part of my job is witnessing the tangible impact of our initiatives on member engagement and satisfaction. Leading innovative programs and seeing their successful implementation, especially during challenging times, brings a deep sense of fulfilment and validates the hard work and strategic planning involved.
A notable highlight is the creation of the Membership Partner Programme at IMechE. This initiative marked our first venture into corporate partnership-style offerings, significantly enhancing the value proposition for our members and setting a precedent for future strategic developments. More recently I authored a Policy Paper on AI for the Institution.
