IMechE 175 is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of IMechE and the contribution of mechanical engineering to society, whilst also inspiring a future generation of engineers. We celebrate and honour our past while looking confidently to the future. #ForwardThinkers

Our celebratory events and activity will focus on how mechanical engineers can help to solve the global challenges we face today. Climate change, education, infection control, and transport… how can mechanical engineering aid humanity?

We were honoured to commence our 175th anniversary celebrations by welcoming Sir Patrick Vallance, the Government’s Chief Scientific Adviser, who gave a special guest lecture in Birdcage Walk on 27 January.
