We have designed this one-day programme in association with AMRC to give an initial grounding on the different mechanical properties measured, together with descriptions of the methods used to measure them.

Gain a deeper insight into the techniques used to determine the mechanical properties of metals and for non-destructive testing (NDT) of structures and components.

This one day programme explains the mechanical properties and testing procedures use for the design, quality and performance behaviour of metals.

It provides an overview of the features and capabilities of NDT techniques used to detect surface and subsurface defects in metal structures and components. Knowledge gained will enable delegates to specify materials correctly for a wide variety of applications, leading to improved product performance and reduced probability of in-service problems.

Who should attend?

This course suits managers and technicians responsible for the QA testing of materials and products. It is equally suited to designers, engineers,  procurement and business development personnel in all branches of manufacturing engineering.
