This conference will address both the challenges of maintaining nuclear assets beyond their intended lifecycle and the process of decommissioning, including planning, current state evaluation, services procurement, and funding.

Nuclear decommissioning is one of the most complex and high-stakes industries in the country, managing and dismantling decades-old nuclear facilities. The NDA estimates that the fully clean up of the UK’s civil nuclear legacy will take more than 100 years and cost over £130 billion.
