Support Network Trustee
Become a trustee and help govern the Support Network.
Support Network Trustees govern the charity for the benefit of members and supervise the Chief Executive to whom day to day management is delegated.
Time commitment and location
The time commitment is 1 to 2 day her month for a three-year period. Meetings are hosted online or at IMechE London headquarters and happen quarterly at a minimum. Other committee meetings as per the individual role/interests.
Requirements and training
Applications can be received all year round though vacancies are dependent upon the current Board composition. New Trustees join either in July each year or are co-opted at other times.
New Trustees are invited to attend training on their roles and responsibilities. An induction is also provided.
