Primary Engineer Volunteer
Get involved in a range of STEM related volunteering opportunities with EngineeringUK.
Primary Engineer are one of the IMechE’s strategic partners and an educational not-for-profit bringing engineering into classrooms across the UK. Primary Engineer connect engineering and technology professionals with schools so they can provide a real-world link to engineering, helping to break stereotypes and expand pupil understanding of what an engineer is and the opportunities and possibilities within industry.
There are several opportunities you can be involved with through Primary Engineer Programmes which provides an engaging and hands-on STEM-based project for primary and secondary school teachers. Through supporting their teacher training, in-school engagement and Celebration Events you can engage with schools taking part in these programmes.
