Would you like to use or develop your strategic business skills?
We welcome applications from all IMechE members, and particularly those with lived experience and/or skills in these areas. Whilst previous governance experience would be an advantage it is not essential as we also want to provide an opportunity for ‘first time’ Trustees.
Governance of the charity as part of a Board of 13 – all responsibilities are equally shared.
Opportunity to develop and/or utilise business management skills. Volunteering which can be used as part of IMechE chartership.
Average 2-3 hours per month, depending on sub-committee involvement. Minimum is attending and preparing for quarterly meetings. Minimum role length is 3 years.
Home based with online meetings. Possibility of quarterly meetings in London once lockdown permits and if current Board agree that they wish to resume them.
