IMechE’s 16 UK regions each have a Regional Education Officer. As a key member of their regional committee, they lead on educational engagement and help deliver programmes that inspire the next generation of engineers.
REOs work with local schools and authorities, and key national organisations to support our outreach work, such as our STEM Ambassador scheme. As well as their regional committee, they work alongside the Education and Skills Strategy Board. If you would like to find out how you can get involved, please reach out to your local REO.
