STEMAZING Inspiration Academy: Empowering Women in STEM to Shine as Visible Role Models

The STEMAZING Inspiration Academy supports women in STEM to excel at public engagement, change outdated perceptions and leave a legacy by delivering engaging online STEMAZINGKids sessions to inspire the next generation.

This 4-month programme will enhance your confidence on camera and increase your portfolio of sensational STEM sessions you can deliver with ease. The programme will culminate in you running your own 6-week online STEMAZINGKids club to inspire 7-9 year olds.

As one of STEMAZING’s sponsors, we are excited to offer this programme free to a limited number of women in STEM. You will benefit from informative and empowering webinars, build your network of other women in STEM, learn from training videos and expert speakers, grow your portfolio of engaging STEM sessions and enhance your authentic confidence to truly shine as a role model and inspire others.

All engagement is expected to be online. Participants will need to:

• Attend the monthly evening webinars with their cameras on
• Engage with their assigned small groups to complete short tasks
• Sign up to be a STEM Ambassador
• Liaise with local and targeted schools
• Commit to delivering six STEMAZINGKids sessions after completion of their training
• Comply with our privacy and safeguarding policies

The programme will be an informal and safe space to grow your confidence with public engagement, but to benefit fully you will need to commit to giving it the required time and effort. We expect two hours a week will be necessary.

Places are limited and some are prioritised for women who are currently out of work.
