APPRENTICESHIP Assessment services

We offer an expert and independent Apprenticeship Assessment Service for the advanced manufacturing and engineering sector.

The Institution became a registered End-Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) in 2018, and was recognised by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) in March 2022.

We are committed to supporting and recognising the contribution and value of apprenticeships to UK industry, and our partnership with EAL, a specialist skills partner and awarding organisation, is important to the delivery of the Engineering Technician Standard.

Complaints

If your complaint relates to Apprenticeship Assessment provided by IMechE, you should first complete our complaints process. Ofqual will normally expect you to have exhausted our complaints procedure before raising a complaint with them and will require a copy of our final response.
