During his career, he gained particular mechanical joint integrity experience on refinery HF Alkylation units. It was this experience that drove Chris to become involved in QA/QC for turnarounds and projects and eventually enabled him to start his own business in 2009 specialising in joint integrity management and leak prevention of bolted joints for UK COMAH sites. Chris and his team now also deliver industry standard joint integrity training and assessment courses throughout the UK (and overseas).

He has extensive experience of supporting assets in terms of design and delivery of joint integrity processes in line with industry guidelines and best practice to help achieve a safe and timely leak-free start up of plant and has a passion for supporting UK apprentice programmes in terms of training delivery and competency assessment of bolted connections of pressurised systems.
