Gift Aid

If you are a UK tax payer, completing a Gift Aid declaration allows us to claim back any UK tax paid on your donation, boosting the value of your contribution to us by 25p for every £1 donated, at no extra cost to yourself.

This potential 25% increase in our income makes a significant difference to the amount of help and services that we can provide.

Gift Aid declarations can cover all qualifying gifts of money, including those made today, during the past 4 years, and future donations too. There is no commitment to regular giving by completing a Gift Aid declaration.

Signing the declaration confirms that the donor has, or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities that the donor donates to will reclaim on those gifts for that tax year. (Please note that other taxes, e.g. VAT, Council Tax do not qualify for the purpose of Gift Aid).
