MPDS Seminars are designed for:

· Scheme co-ordinators

· Mentors actively involved in training, eg in SMEs

· Existing mentors who wish to update their knowledge

· Training personnel within a company

· Industrial Liaison Officers

· Line managers or others involved in the administration of an MPD Scheme

The one-day seminar includes the latest information on the EC(UK) regulations for the registration of professional engineers (changes from SARTOR to UK-SPEC), and the requirements for accreditation of a Professional Development Programme.

Other items include:

· Online e-MPDS

· Requirements for the different classes of membership

· Professional Review Report

· Competence-based professional interview

· Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

To ensure individual participation, seminars are limited to a maximum of 30 delegates.

The seminars commence at 9.30am and are held on a regional basis.
