Railway Division Annual General Meeting Notice 2018

The annual refresh of the Railway Division Board is approaching and there are three vacancies for Ordinary Members. These vacancies are for three years and any Corporate Member can be proposed.

The following nominations have already been received:

• David Clarke, Railway Industry Association
• Mark Hicks CEng FIMechE, Angel Trains Limited
• Felix Schmid CEng FIMechE, University of Birmingham
• Rebeka Sellick CEng FIMechE, SellickRail Ltd
• Amanda White CEng MIMechE, Transport for Greater Manchester

Additional nominations are welcome; the following information is required by Friday 30 March 2018 to Lisa Meenan, Governance & Engagement  L_meenan@imeche.org:

• Support from two corporate IMechE members of the Railway Division
• Consent of the person nominated
• Brief biographical notes and photograph.

• Position of Chair will be elected unopposed:

  candidate for Chair - Andrew Mellors CEng FIMechE

• Position of Deputy Chair will be elected unopposed:

  candidate for Deputy Chair - Graham Neil CEng FIMechE

• Position of Vice Chair will be elected unopposed:

  candidate for Vice Chair - Felix Schmid CEng FIMechE.

The results will be announced at the Railway Division’s 48th Annual General Meeting, taking place on Monday 14 May 2018 at IMechE HQ, One Birdcage Walk, London.  It will take place before the Young Members presentation evening and also consider the divisional annual report.
