 The collection includes books, conferences, seminars, standards, magazines, journals and databases on a range of engineering topics. Core subject areas include: energy, transport, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, manufacturing, machine tools, pressure vessels and robotics.
The Library receives over 200 engineering journals and magazines and acts as a repository for IMechE Proceedings, conferences, seminars and Professional Engineering magazine. The following PDF documents list the serials currently received by the ILS. For details of our full serials collection please ask a member of library staff. A small collection of standards are held for loan and we can obtain non-stock items on request. In addition to UK standards a selection of US national standards, issued by bodies such as ASTM and ANSI are available. The Library subscribes to engineering databases, details of which can be found in the Virtual Library section of the site. A recent acquisitions list is available from the Library catalogue.
