Terms & Conditions of Booking with IMechE Training and Professional Development

 

Registration

The IMechE Training team will acknowledge receipt of registration but please note this does not confirm that the course is taking place.

Joining instructions will be sent 10-14 days prior to the course confirming details. Please contact us immediately if you do not receive an acknowledgement or joining instructions within the stipulated period. Tel: +44 (0)207 304 6907

Cancellations, Transfers and Substitutions for Courses

Any cancellation, transfer or substitution after registration will incur an administration fee of £30. Cancellations and transfers at short notice will be charged as follows: 15- 34 working days before start of course - 50% of fee 0 - 14 working days before start of course - full fee All cancellations, transfers and substitutions, subject to agreement, must be received in writing prior to the commencement of the course.

Cancellations by the IMechE

The IMechE reserves the right to cancel any course. In this case, the full fee will be refunded unless a mutually convenient transfer can be arranged.

Delegates with Special Needs

The IMechE aims to offer fully accessible events to all its delegates. Please help us to accommodate any individual needs that you may have by attaching a note to the registration form.

Payments

The following payment methods are accepted by the IMechE;

Credit/Debit Card Payments can be made online or over the telephone. American Express is not accepted by the IMechE.

Send us a Purchase Order and we’ll invoice your company.

E-mail the Purchase Order PDF file or P.O. number to  c_amarnani@imeche.org  

Alternatively, post a printed Purchase Order to “IMechE Training, 1, Birdcage Walk, London SW1H 9JJ, UK”

Please ensure your accounts department includes all of the following in the PO:

1. Purchase Order raised in favour of “Professional Engineering Publishing Ltd”

2. Exact title, code (TPD xxxx) and date of the course

3. Name of the person attending the course

4. Membership Number if the person is a member

If you wish to pay by cheque, please ensure that:

1. The cheque is made payable to "Professional Engineering Publishing Ltd"

2. The cheque is drawn on a UK bank

3. The cheque is in pound Sterling

4. The cheque is sent to “IMechE Training, 1, Birdcage Walk, London SW1H 9JJ, UK”

5. The cheque is accompanied by a note indicating title, code and date of the course, name of person attending, their email address and their IMechE membership number

If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please ensure that:

1. Your bank transfer reference includes the course code (TPD xxx) and name of the person attending

2. Payment is made to our account as follows:

Account Number: 26011328

Any bank charges incurred – including currency exchange charges - are paid by the sender’s bank.

You also send a remittance advice to IMechE Training, 1, Birdcage Walk, London, SW1H 9JJ, UK, indicating the name of the person attending, their IMechE membership number, title, code and date of the course.

General Information

All course fees include lunch and refreshments. Accommodation is not included.
