Switching on the next generation

The next generation of engineers will build a brighter future for us all.  We are committed to helping inspire, prepare and support the engineers of tomorrow.  We aim to nurture new talent, helping engineers build their careers and take on the challenges that, when solved, will make a difference to all of us.

Engeneration: supporting your future

We understand that you need help and guidance to make the right start with your future career in engineering.  To help to understand the opportunities that engineering offers and to support you with your studies, we have set up Engeneration: a free-to-join membership scheme for all students of the Engineering Diploma (levels 2 and 3) and for students at specialist engineering schools.  It gives you:

  • Careers advice and profiles of real engineers
  • Support in your work with learning materials
  • Exciting trips and events

What’s in it for me?

We offer you course advice and learning materials as well as your very own engineering gurus to help you with even your most complicated queries.  Get the inside scoop on the fast-paced world of engineering, heading behind-the-scenes to real industry jobs. Hear industry news hot off the press.  Cut through the confusion with great careers advice. Benefit from expert guidance taking you from the classroom to your first job interview. Be first in line for exclusive invitations to industry-led events.

How do I join?

Engeneration is free to join.  Simply ask your teacher or tutor and a parent or guardian to sign your application form. When you become a member you will receive an information pack containing a welcome letter, membership brochure, pad, pencil and 1Gb USB card.
