Crosby Prints

 Print A - Bernd Rosemeyer and the 1936 Auto-Union brave treacherous conditions at Nurburg Ring

Frederick Gordon Crosby (1885-1943) was the greatest motoring artist of the classic car era. His drawings and paintings capture the excitement and romance of motor racing’s golden years.

The IMechE possess a fine collection of Crosby originals from the 1930s, six of which have been reproduced in colour. They would make an ideal Christmas gift for a motoring fanatic and would also brighten up any office wall.

Each image is reproduced in full colour on 250gms matt cream art paper, approximate 48 x 41 centimetres and is ideally suited for framing.

All prints are presented with a numbered certificate of authenticity containing a full description of the work.  Print D - George Eyston and “Thunderbolt” smash the world land speed record at Bonneville
 Print E - Charles Dodson’s Austin racer captures the 1938 Empire trophy and Donington A single print is £20+VAT. The full set of six Crosby prints is £100+VAT.
All prices include postage and packaging.
All proceeds from sales will be used in the care and restoration of historical objects in the IMechE archive.
