Committee
The Pharmaceuticals Committee is a Process Industries Division Technical Activity Committee (TAC). It provides a focus for technology transfer, the exchange of information and ideas, and the dissemination of best engineering knowledge and practice in the pharmaceuticals industry.
The Pharmaceuticals TAC organises seminars, conferences and training events, and represents the IMechE membership in the Government's pharmaceuticals consultation process and aims to provide high quality information on developments relating to the pharmaceutical industry. Some of the topics under consideration include: validation of engineering systems and software systems, electronic documents 21CFR11 and the impact of new technology.
The Pharmaceuticals TAC meets three times per year and is chaired by Karen Stevenson.
Objectives
