Skillfair

Skillfair is the UK’s online marketplace for specialist consultancy services. If you’re looking for specific engineering, technology or other skills for advice or project delivery then this is the quickest and most efficient place to find them. You can browse a directory of engineering and other consultants – with sophisticated filtering and text searching to help you find the right company or individual professional, but it’s far quicker and more effective to post your requirements on Skillfair and let them send the details to qualifying consultants.  This saves ringing up people who are too busy to help and is particularly effective if you need an unusual or hard to find combination of skills or experience.

IMechE members who practice as consultants can register on Skillfair for free and will be able to respond to enquiries from other IMechE members without any cost. To access other client enquiries and make full use of Skillfair’s extensive consultant marketing services consultants pay a simple annual membership fee. This is normally £144 but IMechE members benefit from a 15% discount making the costs just £122.40 ex VAT.
