Joint BGA / IMechE Prize for Final Year Degree Project
An Annual prize of £300 is awarded by the British Gear Association and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers for the best Final Year Degree Project on any topic broadly related to the field of mechanical power transmissions.
Projects for BEng or BSc, MEng or MSc are eligible to for submission and consideration by the judges as suitable weightings will be applied to take account of the different degree levels.
To register, applicants are requested to complete the application form for individual or team projects completing in summer 2007 and forward them to the British Gear Association before Friday 1 June 2007 at the following address:

The application form should be followed by a copy of the completed project report (in Word format or PDF and ideally on CD) to arrive no later than Friday 6 July 2007.
The winner will be notified by post before the end of October. Please note that electronic files submitted must be in a format that can be opened by a standard PC.
