The Tribology Silver Medal Award (Serial 452) is funded from the Tribology Trust Fund.
Trust Conditions:
The Tribology Award Fund was established in 1969. A total of £10,000 was raised. The purposes of the Fund are:
- To award an annual Gold Medal for some outstanding achievements in Tribology.
- Three medals for technical contributions by students or others working or researching in Tribology.
Award Conditions:
The Silver Medal is a national award in recognition of an exceptionally meritorious contribution to the science and technology of Tribology.
